At one point in time, “Freeway” Rick Ross was considered to be one of the biggest drug kingpins in America. At the height of the crack epidemic of the 80’s Ross (Not to be confused with the rapper who stole his name), was raking in millions pushing crack cocaine to the masses in LA.
But after serving almost 15 years in prison for a 1996 drug sentence, Ross emerged from a prison a changed man who said he was done with the street life.
That may not quite be the case though after Ross was arrested this week on suspicion of possessing over $100k in drug money.
