Full Time: West Ham 2 - 1 Chelsea, Ten Man Chelsea Hammered

West Ham condemned Chelsea to a fifth defeat in ten premier league games. Matic was sent off for the Blues while in Spain Madrid defeated Celta De Vigo in a top of the table clash.


Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea moves across town to West Ham United who have been poor at home all season but have taken three points off Arsenal and Man City.
West Ham do not have recent history in this fixture on their side, with only one win in their last 18 matches against their city rivals. In the last five of these clashes, Chelsea have kept clean sheets.

The last clash between Celta and Real Madrid came once again at Balaidos in La Liga, and it saw Carlo Ancelotti’s outfit at the time run out 4-2 winners in a highly entertaining match.
Celta have been the surprise package in the league this season, and are one of only two sides (along with Madrid) who are yet to taste defeat in domestic action so far.

FT: West Ham 2 – 1 Chelsea. Carroll won the game for West Ham after Cahill equalized Zarate’s first half volley. Matic earned a red card late in the first half for a second bookable offense.


In Spain Real Madrid defeated Celta De Vigo in a top of the table clash, Ronaldo and Danilo got first half goals for Madrid. Nolito scored lat in the first half  but Marcelo’s 90th minute strike settled it for Madrid. 3 – 1 for the Capital club who are now top of the table.
