According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday Indicated that why most of the fuel stations in town were closed due to  unavailability of the product, the few stations that had it sell between the rate of  N240 to N250 per litre.

Motorist "Okada riders" who were interviewed by the (NAN) complained bitterly about the situation and are pleading for Government Intervention  as soon as possible. Emmanuel Olorunwa a motorist said he spent almost 5 hours in a gas station just to purchase the product at a ridiculous price .
Saburi Ikotun a driver said he hoped the marketer would respond fast since the Government has announced the settlement of their entitlement.

The problem of this fuel scarcity must be put to an end , An oil producing country like Nigeria should not be experiencing such a thing.  NAN also disclosed that it was just three filling stations that sold on Saturday in the town of Oyo.  Filling stations managers and attendants decline every attempt to speak to newsmen as they were not granted permission to speak.
