One of he biggest hotel in Dubai caught fire last night as there was serious celebration with fire works , it is close to one of the tallest building in Dubai ( Burj Khalifa) reports has it that 16 people were injured after a huge blaze broke out from the 20th floor of the hotel building. but Glory be to God no life was lost despite the fire .
Officials said the fire has been brought largely under control and just few people have suffered mostly in terms of minor injuries. It is unclear what caused the blaze as a large crowd had gathered to ring in the new year .
People in the Hotel were asked to leave the premises while the incident was taken care of.
